Arida mandarin oranges are a Japanese agricultural heritage with over 600 years of history. “Kuroshio mandarin orange” is produced by Fujicho Farm, a venerable farm that has been in business for 9 generations in the Taki district of Miyahara-cho, Arita City, Wakayama Prefecture, which is said to produce particularly delicious mandarin oranges. In the perfect environment of sunny south-facing terraced fields, well-drained soil, and a warm climate all year round, sunshine and mineral-rich winds from the Kuroshio Current and the generous “love” of the 9th generation owner. The “Kuroshio mandarin orange” that have been grown in this way are rich, sweet, and have the best balance of sourness.
